Born and raised in Singapore, Teddy Or was the 2006 winner of the Singapore Fashion Designers Contest, an annual talent search organised by the Textile and Fashion Federation, Singapore.

He went on to represent Singapore at the Asian Young Fashion Designers Contest during Singapore Fashion Week 2006.

The following year, Teddy was invited to collaborate on a number of design projects which included the Singapore Fashion Rules! event held as part of the Singapore Fashion Festival 2007, and Fashion Shares, a HIV/AIDS awareness event held during Singapore Fashion Week 2007.

In 2008, Teddy represented Singapore and launched his eponymous collection at the Asia Wow! event at Raffles City in conjunction with the Singapore Fashion Festival.

He also graduated with a Diploma in Fashion Design with Distinction from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in the same year.

Teddy’s design philosophy is about introducing versatility in the pieces he creates, presenting the wearer with playful, yet elegant, options in the manner a garment may be worn. He believes in injecting fun into dressing up, and what better way to inspire this but through his creations.
